Made from a blend of Glera, Chardonnay, and Moscato grapes. Light and refreshing, Zardetto Private Cuvee Frizzante is a traditional Italian effervescent wine perfect for everyday drinking. Frizzante is Italian for “semi-sparkling” and is a term used to designate a unique, fruity, and refreshingly low alcohol, semi-sparkling wine. Production follows the Charmat method, in which the second fermentation takes place in large temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. Perfect as an apertif or mixing in a cocktail.

95% Pinot Grigio, and 5% Friulano for texture and balanced acidity. Harvest dates are selected to produce a wine with soft acidity that is easy to drink. 100% estate grown fruit. Grapes are destemmed and then crushed in a nitrogen rich environment to avoid oxidation.

Aged for three months on the lees in stainless steel tanks, and then bottled. Nestled in the picturesque landscapes of northern Italy. this area provides an ideal environment for the cultivation of this grape variety, with their moderate climates, ample sunshine, and well-drained soils.

100% Cortese grapes grown in the vineyards belonging to an ancient farm, dating back to the 17th century. Gavi is a dry white wine, has a straw yellow color with greenish hues, and stands out for its floral and slightly fruity aromas. The palate is fresh and harmonious, with mineral notes and a long finish. It is the perfect match for fish dishes, seafood, vegetable meals and delicate white meats.

100% estate Montepulciano fruit from a small 2 hectare vineyard located in Loreto Aprutino, Abruzzo Italy. Grown on Limestone clay, this vineyard is Certified Sustainable and Eco-compatible in their farming practices and methods. After de-stemming and pressing, traditional fermentation was carried out in steel vats at a controlled temperature of 15-17 degrees C, to preserve the fresh aromas of the fruit. The must was separated from the skins after 8 hours. This was followed by off-the-skins fermentation, a brief period of aging in steel vats, and tartaric stabilization.

100% Montepulciano d’Abruzzo grown on vineyards that shadow the east facing coastline. These grapes undergo maceration on the skins as well as being fermented in temperature controlled tanks and stabilized in stainless steel. This wine uniquely enough, does not go through any aging after vinification, and is ready to be enjoyed very shortly after harvest. A companion to main courses which are typical of Mediterranean cuisine, such as game and red meats. This bottle should be opened and allowed to breathe before serving.

100% Nebbiolo grapes from a younger vine selection in Monforte d’Alba. These grapes are crushed and destemmed before fermenting in temperature controlled stainless-steel wine vats. From the beginning of fermentation, daily pumping over is carried out to facilitate the extraction of the color and aromas from the skins. After three to five days of maceration, the must is racked and left to ferment at a controlled temp for another five to six days. The wine then goes through malolactic fermentation, aged in steel for a few months and then is bottled in spring.

100% Sangiovese from the vineyards of Vallepicciola grown on limestone and clay. Fermentation happens in temperature controlled steel tanks, followed by 10 days of maceration and then it undergoes malolactic fermentation in used French oak barrels. The wine ages in barrels for 10 months followed by a further 6-8 months in second pour barriques.

100% Primitivo, this Italian alter ego of Croatia’s Tribidrag and California’s Zinfandel, Primitivo has been grown in Puglia for centuries and is gaining newfound recognition in Italy. This fruit grown on clay with limestone rock, goes through malolactic fermentation in stainless-steel tanks. It does about 6 months of aging, before it has 3 more months in the bottle. The name Orion is not related to the constellation, but rather to an ancient wall. Orion means limit or boundary in Greek, and a wall that once served as the boundary of Salento when this was a Greek colony is today a country road that runs alongside Li Veli’s Primitivo vineyard.
